The ECO4 scheme is a a government-funded initiative designed to support the least energy-efficient homes in the UK by providing a range of FREE home improvements and renewable energy upgrades.
There is also an emphasis to help low-income households and vulnerable individuals living in fuel-poor homes (bands D, E, F and G) to become more energy efficient.
It is a policy that aims to make homes warmer, make households’ emissions lower and improve the EPC rating of homes.
These grants pay for new heating systems like boilers, heating systems, heating controls, loft or cavity wall installation, upgrades to your central heating and other measures, all FREE of charge.
he UK Energy Companies do!
The UK government has committed to reducing carbon emissions by making homes more energy efficient, as part of this commitment, the UK government has put an obligation on energy companies throughout the UK.
Energy companies are obliged to pay for the ECO scheme, not the government.
The energy companies are required to meet certain targets for the number of homes they improve under ECO.
If they don’t meet their targets, they have to pay a penalty to the government. The money from the penalties is used to fund other energy efficiency schemes.
Any gas and electricity companies that have more than 150,000 customers are obliged to fit ECO measures. As it stands, the list of energy suppliers includes:
Landlords – INCREASE your property VALUE..
Home Owners & Tenants – SAVE on you ENERGY BILLS..
Make homes warmer
Reduce households’ emissions
Improve the EPC rating of homes.
This may sound a little too good to be true,
BUT There REALLY ISN'T ONE!
Provided your circumstances are inline with the government’s criteria, the ECO4 grant will be accessible & FREE to you.
The ECO4 home energy efficiency funding does not need to be repaid.
That by 2025 your property must have a minimum EPC rating of ‘C’ to be able to rent it out to tenants?
